The DMH Way Guidebook

Welcome to The DMH Way Leadership Program, a 15-module program designed to help you grow as a leader. Our program is built around Five Core Competencies that define what it means to work and lead at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Each competency is covered across three modules, giving you a well-rounded foundation in what effective leadership looks like at DMH:

  • Passion: Servant Leadership, Ownership, and Empathy

  • Integrity: Trust, Safety Culture, and Accountability

  • Teamwork: Communication, Collaboration, and Work/Life Balance

  • Celebrate: Fun, Synergy, and Creativity

You'll work through each module in The DMH Way Leadership Program at your own pace, picking up practical tools you can put to use right away. The goal is simple: give you what you need to lead well and make a difference at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

How The DMH Way Leadership Program Works

This program is organized into a series of short learning modules. Each module is built around one of the five leadership competencies and includes focused lessons exploring real-world leadership behaviors at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Throughout the program, certain modules will offer an additional section titled Extra Support, designed to provide opportunities for further exploration and continued learning.

New modules will be released on a regular schedule. You will receive an email when a new one is available. From there, we ask that you:

  • Log in to the platform

  • Read all sessions under the module topic

  • Reflect on the ideas

  • Answer the short questions at the end to track your progress and growth over time
